Poland // State Flag / 1927-1939, 1990 - Present

Sub-collection: Small Flags

The basic design of the State Flag of Poland is the national flag defaced with the national arms centered on the upper white stripe. The basic design has remained unchanged save for the stylized details of the arms, which have always been the crowned white eagle of Poland. The only exception was 1956-1990, when, during communist rule, the eagle was uncrowned.
This stick flag was a flag used to commemorate the role of troops from Poland on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the allied landings at D-Day, Juns 6, 1944.

Acquired by Ben Zaricor, 1996.
