
This is an example of a United states kit flag. Usually packaged complete with a pole, bracket and top ornament, these flags are intended for the mass market and home use. Made from economy cotton sheeting they offered a low cost option for patriotic displays. This flag was made by the Annin Company of Verona New Jersey, circa. 1970s. Annin is the Nations oldest and largest flag company.
