Double Barrel rifle/shotgun; 35" overall; double barrel side-by-side 20" barrels - left is a shotgun (16 guage), right berrel is rifled (.45 caliber); top of barrel rib is engraved; "GUSTEV MULLER TAYLOR FALLS" and inlaid with German Silver; percussion "bar action" locks on each side near breech are not marked but left lock is engraved (right lock is a replacement using another extremely modified left hand lock placed back side out. with parts added; added front blade sight and "open" rear sight.
Gustav Muller is listed in the 1870 and 1880 US censuses in Minnessota.
This artifact is recommended for deaccession.
