Catalog description
NORVELL-SHAPLIEGH HARDWARE CO TOOLED "DIAMOND" PISTOL HOLSTER ca 1900-1920 This is a shiny, dark brown russet leather tooled holster, which is calfskin lined. This holster is made for a small ejector-less pistol like a Model 1877 Colt "Lightning" Sheriff's Model. The diamond shaped cartouche on the front states, "Norvell Shapliegh Hardware Co. - Norvell Diamond. The reverse is stock numbered "22 - 4" on the belt loop. The holster measures 4"x 9.5" including the high back. The calfskin interior lining is slightly deteriorating but still present, the stitching may be coming loose in the middle but the seem remains tight. This is a fine example of a high-quality factory made holster in good condition.
