These four panels each depict a stylized white elephant; each wearing a different howdah blanket. They may be identified as follows; squares, oval, star & square. They are all of different sizes -this size given is an average.

Oval 9.5 x 9.75
Star 9 x 8.75
Square 1o.5 x 10.25

These are hard to identify and need more research as the white elephant is auspicious to the Hindu and Buddhist religions and is culturally auspicious in both Thailand, Burma and India.

These appear to be pre-made panels that could then be incorporated into a banner, wall hanging, costume or other textile. It does not appear that they were meant to stand alone as embroideries.
