Sub-collection: Artifacts not flagsThese sholder strap and belt (which has no buckle) were purchased as a set are from a Butterfield and Butterfield Auction.
Thw belt is a standard issue American Civil enlisted mans leather belt, although some were worn by officers as well.
The sholder straps are for the grade of US Army major general. It is not known if the two items are assicoated.
