U.S. 45 Star Flag - United Bank Building.
Circa 1896 - 1908
This large wool flag was donated to the Star Spangled Banner Flag House in Baltimore in 1963 by Mrs. Alexander F. Jenkins (who also donated ZFC0092, a very rare 47 star flag.), This flag is marked, with both a makers mark "US Standard," a size "6'X10" and is inscribed "United Bank Building" which is doubtless a reference to the United Bank, a Baltimore financial institution since 1839.
A noteworthy flag from the Star Spangled Banner Flag House Collection.
