A rare and finely preserved Union Jack flag which was flown from the jack staff of HMS Spartiate at the battle of Trafalgar on the 21st October, 1805. It is the last documented flag to survive from that iconic battle. Read more

ZFC1165 United Kingdom Blue Ensign, Government Vessels, 1940s. The ships of the Royal Navy traditionally were divided into three squadrons designated, red, white, and blue – the colors of the Union Jack. By 1864 naval tactics had eliminated the squadrons, so their flags were given new uses. The blue ensign was used for government vessels. Read more
