Mail Bag = Always Ready Mexican campaign 1914
(obverse). U.S. Mail (reverse).
In 1914 the US sent the US Navy to Vera Cruz, Mexico. This small blue bag is stamped with an image of a US shield, with a USN Battleship superimposed over the stripes. The shield is flanked by a Sailor and a Marine whos are accompanied by flags, an anchor and a cannon. Above the "arms" is a scroll with the slogan "Always Ready" while below is a scroll reading Maxican Campaign 1914.


This souvenir "Mail Bag' has 12 miniture "Post Cards" pertaining to the event.
There are 12 cards inside (1.75 x 2.75).
