National Flag Of Republic Of South Vietnam. National Liberation Front (NLF) A.K.A. VIET CONG.
Little is known about the history of this vernacular Viet Cong flag. It was sold with the provenance that it was a Vietnamese prayer flag carried by the Viet Cong in battle, however, it is not a prayer flag but rather a soldier's personal flag.
Provenance:
It was acquired as a GI bring-back at an online eBay auction on July 13th, 1999.
