Second half 20th century. Carved pine example of a displayed eagle, a banner within its beak, gripping a furled flag in its talons. The gilt eagle decorated, the banner midnight blue and carved, but now illegible due to fire. The furled banner painted in red.
SIZE: 16-1/2"h x 45" wingspan.
CONDITION: Both wings with horizontal cracking. The painted and gilded surfaces damaged throughout by exposure to fire.
