US // Stereo Photo / Lyndon VT - 1868-1872

Stereoscopic photo card of a street scene in Lyndon, Vermont circa 1868-1872.
Image includes many business establishmrnts, homes, and a large building, perhaps a hotel.
Across the street is a large US flag suspended on a line from two large poles. The flag moved during the photo shoot
so the star count is indeterminate.

However, behind the flag is a smaller 37 star flag. Of greater interest is the small panel at the bottom fly edge.
The phote seems to have captured a campaign flag in use. See ZFC0624 for an example of such a flag.
