Japan // Souvenir Handkerchief / 1945

Silk handkerchief with image od a mountain and a cherry blossom, and an inscription in English, "Kokosuka Japan Dec. "45".
Items like this were locally made in Occupied JApan for sale to US troops. These were often made locally by young women as they were easily produced and required only silk and paint.
