This French scarf was commissioned to commemorate America's entrance into WWI. It depicts oval cartouches of President Woodrow Wilson, General Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert Du Motier marquis de Lafayette, General George Washington and the Statue of Liberty, a Centennial gift to the U.S. from France.
