Korea.

The Korean peninsula was the first international confrontation of the Cold War. The Korean War (1950-1953) was theoretically a war fought between the Republic of Korea in the south and the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea in the north, but each side was aided by powerful factions and it was fought primarily by surrogates.

This Grouping contains flags and artifacts from the United Nations (UN), the Republic of South Korea, and the U.S.  Most significant among them is the personal UN flag of the UN commander the  U.S. General Matthew Ridgeway.
